We are now organising a village meeting for all volunteers at the Acaster Malbis Memorial Hall, on the evening of Thursday 13 February at 7.30pm. We very much hope that all last year’s volunteers will be able to attend, and please spread the word and bring along anyone else you know who may be willing to lend a hand. This meeting will give us the opportunity to update you with the details of what is planned for the event, plus to start to assign specific responsibilities according to everyone’s preferences. The meeting shouldn’t take too long, and we will ensure that tea, coffee, biscuits, beer, wine and nibbles are provided to keep everyone refreshed!
To put on an event of this size in the village, we do need a very large number of volunteers to help out one way or another – so if you know someone who hasn’t already put their name down, please ask them to let us know they are interested now – info@acasterevents.co.uk They are also very welcome to just turn up to the evening meeting on 13 Feb.
We very much look forward to seeing you at the meeting. If for any reason you are unable to attend, but still want to help out as a volunteer, please let us know, and we can update you individually.
